There’s no better feeling than warming up your car at 5am and loading your luggage up in the car for a long awaited road trip. The coffee is hot, your eyes are still adjusting to the minimal light, but your heart is anxious to get on the road.
The best road trips are the ones taken with friends, a partner, or even your family (although that one is up for debate, LOL). But we don’t always get that luxury. Luckily for us, we live in a time where we have computers in our pockets and we get to take our friends with us wherever we go.
If you know me, you’d know that I have racked up some miles behind the wheel, and I have learned that road trips are the best time to catch up with friends and family. Using hands free technology of course, long car rides are my favorite time to catch up with friends and family that you haven’t had time to reach out to in a while. If you have a long trip scheduled, make sure you let your closest friends know so they can make themselves available to talk. You’d be surprised on how easy it’ll be to catch up with your friends from college and how fast an hour on the phone with them can go by.
So here’s to gettin on the road and callin’ up those long lost friends and enjoying the ride 😎
