It’s 2023, bitches! This year is for the baddies that want to make this the best year yet. This year is for the girls & gays, for the people that want to explore what the world has to offer, for the women on a mission. For the women that want to share their story. For the mom that is supporting her children. For the teachers that are raising our next generation. For the nurses that are supporting the health of those in their community. For the young girls that are growing up without an older sister. This year is for you. This is your year. This is for the bitches.

This year we are setting goals. Goal setting provides you with a sense of purpose, something to work for, and lays out a path when building the life you want. We have to set goals in order to grow as individuals. Everyone has something in their life that they want to improve. Unless you’re Paris Hilton, because she’s perfect. So if you’re not Paris Hilton, keep reading.

For me, my goals are centered around giving my free time a purpose. Since I travel for work and am typically in new areas with few people I know and limited things to do, I’ve struggled with feeling like my life after work has a purpose. So here are my fuckin goals for this year to combat these internal hardships:

  1. Explore the world of social media & build my blog (thanks for reading, bitch!).
  2. Focus on spending my time with friends, intentionally.
  3. Finding a new balance with social events and alcohol.

Let’s be fucking real, social media is taking over the world, and I truly believe that using it as a tool to build a brand is so powerful. We have endless knowledge at our fingertips from people that are just like us. My goal with this blog is to create a space where I can share my lifestyle, and eventually build an audience that relates and shares their experiences in That Funny Bitch’s Community. I want to build a supportive space where we can share about life, learn about personal development, and most importantly laugh along the way. While you’re here, go follow me from the links below.

That being said, this community of mine has already blossomed through the amazing people I have gotten to meet in my beautiful life. I have some pretty fucking awesome friends, and I can’t wait to create more memories with them. They are truly my inspiration for creating That Funny Bitch Community.

I am so privileged and grateful that I have the ability to travel & spend time with these beautiful souls. My intention is to learn from them, document my new experiences with them, and of course share as many laughs as I can with them. If you follow my travels, I’m sure you’ll see how cool my friends are. And keep a look out for my tips & tricks on my favorite ways to make it possible.

With new experiences, travels, or events with my friends comes constantly struggling to keep up with the pressures of socializing. I love socializing. My favorite times have come from being social, and I will cherish those memories forever. But as a young 20-something, those events are typically accompanied by alcohol.

There is definitely a balance that I think everyone has to figure out in their life, and a big goal of mine this year is to practice this balance. Everyone’s relationship with alcohol is different, and there is a spectrum that we have to figure out where we feel our happiest.

For some, being totally alcohol free is where they find the most happiness, and for others, it’s going to the bar every weekend. This year, my third goal is to find what works best for me. Check out the post below for my unsolicited thoughts and opinions about this topic, and follow my adventures as I navigate the integration between my 2023 goals.

The very personal journey of figuring out whatever works is one that I guess I’m going to bring you guys on – whether you asked for it or not. If you made it this far, what are your goals this year, bitch?

Let’s make it the fuckin’ best year yet. Start building the life you deserve, bitch! And remember, always find a reason to laugh.
